RunFestRun has a stunning new venue for 2022! The event will take place on 20-22 May 2022 at Englefield House, Theale, Berkshire. The venue is located in Berkshire, within easy reach from Reading, Newbury and Basingstoke and just a 5-minute drive off the M4.

We will be keeping a close eye on government guidance around Covid and will be updating our visitors nearer the time should restrictions apply. For now, we advise that all visitors may be expected to show evidence of double vaccination or a negative lateral flow test, taken within 24 hours of arrival.

Ticket Information

Tickets will be emailed to you approximately two weeks before the event. 

You can check into your booking at any time by following the link in your confirmation email.

After your ticket purchase is successfully completed, you will receive an email confirmation of your booking from Easol.

We have a strict no Refund Policy. Therefore, we do not offer any refunds or exhanges on RunFestRun tickets.

Big Bug Family Fun Run

When you purchase your ticket to RunFestRun you are automatically registered for all of the running events. 

On your confirmation email we will ask you to click a link and tell us which runs you are likely to want to run, this will help us with forward planning so please be as accurate as possible.

Registered participants are free to run, jog, dance or walk at their own pace in any of our races.

The use of chip timing will be used to record and determine results for all races. Chips will be embedded in your running number which you will need to pin to your t-shirt and ensure you wear this during all races for health and safety reasons. Numbered bibs and timing chips will be posted to you in advance of the event. If you purchase your ticket up to 2 weeks before the event, you will need to collect your chip and bib at the event.

We recommend a strong pair of running shoes suitable for multiple terrains. 

No map, compass or any other method of navigation is required.

Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted at this event, except for assistance dogs. 

No dogs will be allowed on any of the running courses.

All routes will have checkpoints that will offer water. 

These should be treated as a complement to the personal supplies you bring. These may be self-service to comply with covid regulations.

Listening to music is permitted while running on the courses, but headphones must not be worn within the first km or on the approach to checkpoints. 

We advise not having your headphones in while going through the festival site, as you’ll miss out on everyone cheering you on!

Refreshments will be made available to purchase via food vendors and licensed bars. 

You are welcome to bring your own food and drink into the campsite but not into the festival site.

Don’t panic, plenty of showers and toilets will be provided! Both weekend and day ticket holders will have access to the showers and changing facilities. 

The showers will be available for the duration of the festival.

Every participant will receive a medal free of charge.

RunFestRun team t-shirts will be available to purchase on the ticketing page of our website: Adult sizes are £15, Child sizes are £10. T-shirts will be one of 4 teams and you can choose your team when you book a ticket - this year’s teams will be The Bees, The Dragonflies, The Ladybirds, The Butterflies.

As part of the fun at RunFestRun, all participants will be able to choose which team they want to be part of throughout the weekend: The Bees, The Dragonflies, The Ladybirds, The Butterflies. Across the weekend every KM you run will count as a point towards your team. There will be activities throughout the weekend, such as the ‘FAMILY FUN RUN’ where you can collect more points for your team. Stay tuned for more information! The winning team will be announced on Sunday afternoon!

Please note that a condition of entering RunFestRun is that photographs may be used in the future by RunFestRun for marketing purposes. We will be working with professional photographers to capture photographs of all race participants which will be linked to your race number.


RunFestRun has the goal of making the festival fun for everyone. At RunFestRun 2022, the 2.5km race on Saturday will be a ROAD only race, so this will be suitable for wheelchairs and buggies.

General Information

Smoking is not allowed in any of the marquees or structures. Visitors who wish to smoke are asked to respect others by refraining from smoking in busy areas, around children or around food.

Any enquiries about lost property should be made at the event Information Point. We endeavor to reunite all lost property with its owners after the festival.

Following the festival, we will make every effort to reunite all misplaced items with their owners.

We do not allow picnics to be brought into the festival. Folding chairs can be brought in and set up beyond the marked out ‘standing only’ area in front of the stage.  Please note, our policy is one chair per person and these chairs must be foldable.

We do not allow gazebos, laysacs, windbreakers or tents within the festival arena. Structures like these block the view of the stage for other RunFestRunners, so please be considerate of your fellow festival goers when setting up your area for the evening and don’t take up too much space!

We will provide more information nearer the time as to whether cash machines will be available on the event site.


We look forward to welcoming you to our campsites at RunFestRun! In order for everyone to get the best experience and to stay safe, we ask you to follow our Campsite rules as below: 

  • Open fires and BBQs are NOT permitted

  • Only purpose-built gas stoves with small gas bottles (2.75kg) are permitted, no spare bottles to be brought

  • Generators are not permitted

  • Please use bins provided

  • Keep fire lanes clear

  • Empty toilet waste into tanks provided not toilet units

  • Caravans and Campervan should bring sufficient gas bottles in the fitted cylinders on the vehicle only.  No spare bottles should be brought on site

  • There will be no vehicle movements on the campsite over the weekend

  • No sound systems will be permitted on site

  • Pitches will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis

  • Sleeping in cars overnight is not permitted

  • Strictly no fire/Chinese lanterns on site

  • Strictly no fireworks on site

  • No water source should be deemed drinking water unless specifically labelled as such

  • No glass onsite (including alcohol bottles)

  • In the event of needing assistance, medical or otherwise, please contact any steward or member of campsite staff who can radio for assistance

  • Please remain vigilant to fire safety in order to help keep yourselves and other festival goers safe

  • No dogs, with the exception of assistance dogs, are allowed in the campsite or the festival site.

  • Campers are requested to return any trailers or large trolleys used to bring items into the campsite back to their cars or the trolley holding area at the campsite entrance

  • Please take all of your belongings and litter home with you at the event of the event.

If you’d like to bring your live-in vehicle to RunFestRun, you will need to purchase a permit, in addition to Weekend Camping tickets. This can be purchased when you purchase your tickets. Campervan passes are in limited supply, so please book yours nice and early. Passes are available with or within a power hook up. 

Prices are: £125 include a power hook up, and £80 without power.

Glamping options will be available soon. We will be able to provide further information on this when we go on general sale. Please sign up to our newsletter for more information.

Please note that there is NO vehicular access within the main RunFestRun campsite; cars must be parked in the campsite car park and all items carried in. Only the Caravan/Campervan and Accessible campsites can be driven into. All cars/tow vehicles in Caravan/Campervan sites can be unhitched and parked in designated parking areas. They cannot be left within the allocated pitch.


RunFestRun is committed to making everyone’s experience an enjoyable one and provide the following for our disabled visitors to assist with ease of access throughout the festival. Please do consider that the festival is an outdoor event with grass fields and grounds with gradients/uneven surfaces. Whilst we have made a great effort to provide facilities to accommodate for this there will inevitably be some areas that are hard to navigate.

If you require assistance (free Personal Assistant/Essential Companion ticket) to attend RunFestRun or have any other requirements, please follow the process below:

  1. Purchase a ticket

  2. Obtain a ticket reference number

  3. Send us an email with the title ‘Personal Assistant ticket request’ along with proof of your disability. 

We will endeavour to respond within 5 working days to confirm your requests.

Accessible toilets will be provided within all of the toilet blocks at RunFestRun.

RunFestRun welcomes all Assistance Dogs which include Hearing Dogs, Canine Partners, Dogs for the Disabled and Guide Dogs.

Accessible parking, for blue badge holders only, will be available at RunFestRun. 


Parking spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis and cannot be pre-booked. Blue Badge Permits will be required before entry into the car park, please have these on display. 

Parking Information

Car parking is available to all festival ticket holders. Car Parks are located within the festival site and are professionally managed. There is also 24-hour security on-site, which includes regular patrols of the parking areas. All types of vehicles are permitted in the car parks, including motorbikes and live-in vehicles, although it is not permitted to sleep in live-in vehicles in the parking areas.

Please note that there is NO vehicular access within the main RunFestRun campsite; cars must be parked in the campsite car park and all items carried in. Only the Caravan/Campervan and Accessible campsites can be driven into. All cars/tow vehicles in Caravan/Campervan sites can be unhitched and parked in designated parking areas. Electric Car charging is not currently available, but we are looking into options for the future.
